issues with ai powered ad blocking on lenovo laptop
Hey Everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I've been an avid user of Brave for quite some time, currently running it on my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 laptop. Lately, I've noticed some quirks with the AI-powered ad-blocking, and I'm keen to see if other Lenovo users have experienced similar issues.
Concerns:
Ad Detection Discrepancies: On my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9, the AI-powered ad-blocking occasionally seems less effective. Ads that were previously blocked are now slipping through, disrupting my seamless browsing experience. Any Lenovo users facing similar challenges?
Customization Challenges: While I appreciate the default settings, I find it challenging to customize the AI-powered ad-blocking preferences on my ThinkPad. Adjusting settings in the shield panel doesn't consistently apply changes. Any tips from Lenovo users on effective customization?
False Positives: I've also noticed instances where non-intrusive website elements are mistakenly blocked on my ThinkPad. It's a bit tedious to manually unblock elements each time. Have any Lenovo ThinkPad users found a way to fine-tune settings, especially those related to AI solutions?
I believe in the potential of Brave's AI-driven ad-blocking technology and suspect these issues might be specific to my Lenovo setup. If you're a Lenovo ThinkPad user and have encountered similar challenges or have tips for optimizing AI-powered ad-blocking, I'd greatly appreciate your insights.
Share your thoughts on these concerns or any related experiences. Let's collaborate to maximize the effectiveness of Brave's AI-powered ad-blocking on Lenovo devices.
Looking forward to hearing from fellow Brave users with Lenovo laptops and seeking solutions together!

intel arc a770 issue with trendmicro antivirus
Hey folks,
I'm in a bit of a bind here and need some advice. I recently installed the Intel Arc GPU, and it's been a great upgrade so far in terms of performance. However, I've run into a peculiar issue related to my TrendMicro antivirus software.
Whenever I run a scan or perform certain actions with TrendMicro, my computer's performance takes a significant hit. This slowdown is especially noticeable when gaming or running resource-intensive applications. The strange thing is that this issue only started occurring after I installed the Intel Arc GPU. Before that, TrendMicro worked just fine without causing any performance drops.
I'm at a loss here and wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem or might have some insights into how to resolve this issue. I rely on my antivirus software, but I also want to make the most of my new graphics card's capabilities.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Updated Drivers: I've made sure that my Intel Arc GPU graphics drivers are up to date, hoping it might resolve the issue, but no luck.
TrendMicro Updates: I've also updated my TrendMicro antivirus to the latest version, thinking that might help, but the problem persists.
Resource Allocation: I've checked to see if there are any resource allocation conflicts between the graphics card and antivirus, but I couldn't find any obvious issues.
If anyone has any suggestions or has encountered this specific problem before, I would greatly appreciate your input. I want to keep my system secure without sacrificing the performance I've gained with the new graphics card.
Regards,
Judye
