I experience fast battery drain on my hp 250g8. I do not face the same problem with another antivirus.

I use trend micro and another antivirus on and off(both are paid subscription).

I do not face the same problem with the other av.

n.b.- I keep my windows 11 updated with the latest version. I always install the latest montly update as soon as they arrive on second tuesdays every month. I have never installed any preview updates on my laptop 

I do not think of installing tm or renewing my tm subscription ever again unless you resolve all the bugs.

do not ask me for log files or version no. because I already uninstalled tm. I am thinking of installing tm few months later. I expect not get any problem with tm then.

Trend micro has way too many security components which are automatically updated although not on a daily basis.

I am kind of confused which one(screenshots attached) is the "virus signature component"?

I am not an experienced user of trend micro.

I have no idea what this threat notification(screenshot attached) is about.

Everytime I open the payguard it pops up.

Sometimes it appears when I do not open payguard.

Sometimes I open payguard but this does not appear.

Is it okay to uncheck the box next to "share performance information to trend micro"?

Can it have any negative impact on the level of protection?

Recently installed TM antivirus+.

I disabled the option called "scan for suspicious files as the pc starts" because the system startup was significantly slower and the problem has been resolved after disabling it.

So, can this have a negative impact on the level of protection?

My laptop runs on windows 11 powered by core i3 11 gen processor.
