Hi everyone,
Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. If you're still using a PC with Windows 10, it's important to understand what this means and how it affects your device's security.
What is Windows 10 End of Life?
After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support from Microsoft. While your PC will continue to function, it will be more exposed to malware and other cyber threats.
What Should You Do Next?
- Upgrade to Windows 11 if your device meets the system requirements.
- If your PC can't upgrade, consider purchasing a new device that supports Windows 11.
- Need more time? Microsoft will offer an Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10 users starting in 2025.
Staying on an unsupported version of Windows increases your risk of being affected by unpatched vulnerabilities. For the best protection, upgrade to a supported version of Windows as soon as possible.
