Device Optimization/Memory Usage

I've been using TrendMicro on all of my devices for years. I stopped using the other two main anti-virus companies because they expanded their suite to include system optimization features I didn't want and which took up system resources. Now Mobile Security is monitoring my memory usage to optimize battery and device performance. I don't need or want this feature, but it can't be disabled. This monitoring process is always running in the background to check what's running int he background. I know what's running in the background on my device and this is the only process I want to stop. If you can't stay in your lane, at least provide the ability to disable additional features.

Thanks for bringing this up! Just wanted to let you know that we removed the Memory Booster feature starting from version 16.0. It is replaced by App Freeze, which helps extend your battery life, reduce app notifications, and optimize your device's performance.

As for the Mobile Security app always running in the background, that's actually for the Web Guard feature, not for system optimization.

It's there to keep your browsing safe.
