When adding my wife’s phone as a device, do we use the main log in on her phone also when she downloads the app or does she create another log in?

Yes, you can surely add your wife's mobile device by using your main login. Just download the app and choose "sign-in using your Trend Micro Account".

You should log in on your wife’s phone using the same main account you used on Eggy Car your device. There’s no need for her to create a separate login—using the same account ensures both devices stay synced and share the same data or settings.
