Hello everyone,

I’m currently looking for help with translating video content into another language and would appreciate any advice or recommendations.

The videos include spoken dialogue, and I’m trying to find the most effective way to translate them accurately while keeping the original meaning and tone. I’m not sure whether it’s better to use subtitles, voice-over, or other tools/workflows for this kind of task.

If anyone has experience with video translation, localization, or knows useful tools, services, or communities that deal with this problem, I’d be very grateful for your input.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or guidance!

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out.

While this topic isn’t directly related to Trend Micro products, I’m happy to share some general guidance that might help.

Video translation usually involves three steps: transcription, translation, and output (subtitles or voice-over). Many creators use AI-assisted tools like YouTube’s subtitle editor, Kapwing, or Whisper for transcription, then manually check the translations to preserve meaning and tone. For full voice-over, localization studios or tools like Descript can help.

These aren’t Trend Micro–supported services, but they are commonly used in content creation workflows.
Hope this gives you a good starting point!
