When adding my wife’s phone as a device, do we use the main log in on her phone also when she downloads the app or does she create another log in?

Yes, you can surely add your wife's mobile device by using your main login. Just download the app and choose "sign-in using your Trend Micro Account".

Good question! If you're trying to link her phone to the same account (like for a smart home app or a security system), she should usually log in with the same main account you used — that way both devices stay synced.

It depends on your subscription plan. If your subscription covers three devices, you can install it on additional devices at no extra cost. However, if your plan is limited to one device, you will need to purchase a new subscription for any additional device.

If she creates a new login, it will be treated as a separate account and won’t share your subscription benefits. She’d need her own license.
