After years with Trend Micro VPN on my laptop I have started getting the message "Suspicious interference detected. Your data or privacy could be at risk" all the time (at home on my laptop).
Is there a likely cause?
Should I just expect this and so have to always have VPN on at home?

Hello,

Our Trend Micro VPN's "Suspicious interference detected" message could be caused by software updates, network changes, conflicts with other security software, VPN server issues, malware, or corrupted VPN settings. Troubleshooting steps include restarting devices, checking Trend Micro's status, updating software, temporarily disabling other security programs, checking/resetting VPN settings and scanning for malware. Whether to always use a VPN at home depends on your privacy/security needs and whether you can resolve the error. While not critical at home, it's recommended for public Wi-Fi or travel.
