I've already renewed my Trend Micro, but I keep getting pop ups saying that its expired and renewal is required. What do I need to get the program to recognize that the renewal is already complete?

Pmt received, but keep getting asked for payment. Maybe they really want auto renewal?

Hi there,

Thank you for renewing your subscription to keep your devices protected. Since you are being asked for payment again, here’s what you can do:

1. Verify that your subscription is active:
a. Sign in to your TrendLife account.
b. Go to the Licenses tab and check your Subscription Status.
c. Confirm that the expiration date reflects your recent renewal.

2. Make sure you are using the correct activation code:
a. Open your Trend Micro program/application.
b. Locate the Subscription Information by clicking the expiration date in the lower-right corner.
c. Check whether the activation code you renewed is being used on your devices.
d. If a different activation code is being used, select Change your activation code.
e. Enter the renewed activation code from your confirmation email.
f. Restart the program/application.

3. Confirm that the renewal notification corresponds to the subscription you recently renewed. You may have multiple subscriptions on your account.

I just got locked out of my Maximum Security on both my phone and tablet telling me I had to purchase an upgrade to use premium features. The button offering to let me sign in did not work. I was forced to completely uninstall the app and start over. Very frustrating.

Maximum Security should not require you to uninstall and reinstall the app to continue using your subscription. It appears that the app may have encountered a sign-in or licensing synchronization issue, which prevented it from properly recognizing your active subscription and caused the premium features message to appear unexpectedly.

We're glad you were able to regain access by reinstalling the app, but we understand this is not the experience you expected. To help us investigate further and prevent the issue from happening again, could you please let us know the version of the Trend Micro app installed on your phone and tablet, as well as the operating system versions of those devices?
