What's going on?
We would like to inform you about an ongoing issue that some of our Mobile Security for iOS users have encountered after updating to the latest version, 11.2.1070. This update has caused internet connectivity problems when the Web Guard feature is enabled. We are currently investigating this issue.
What to do!
- Check if Trend Micro Mobile Security for iOS is in the latest version. (11.2.1070)
- Observe Internet Connection Status while Web Guard is ON for both Wi-Fi and Mobile Data.
- Offload App Data

Fixed Issues
This update addresses several specific problems in Trend Micro Security:
"- Fixed an issue where certain websites weren't being blocked by TM extensions when User Mode Hooking (UMH) was turned off or paused using the Diagnostic Toolkit.
- Fixed an issue where Standalone Trend Micro Security extensions couldn't block access to URLs marked for blocking.
- Fixed an issue where Email Defender couldn't promptly identify risky emails and trigger warning pop-ups in Outlook.
- Fixed an issue that caused CPU spikes when accessing a particular blog post website with Trend Micro Security enabled.
