    If you have a Windows device in S Mode, you can install Trend Micro Security for Microsoft Edge.  You can check the link below on how you can do this:

    Install Trend Micro Security for Microsoft Edge

    You also have the option to switch out of S Mode to install Trend Micro Maximum Security. You can follow the steps below on how you can switch out of S Mode:

    For Windows 10:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap Update and Security.
    3. Tap Activation.
    4. Find Switch to Windows 10 Home or Switch to Windows 10 Pro section.
    5. Then select Go to the Store link.
    6. Tap Get on the Microsoft Store.

    For Windows 11:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap System.
    3. Tap Activation.
    4. Find Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, then select the Go to the Store link or Click Open Microsoft Store.
    5. On the page that appears in Microsoft Store (Switch out of S mode or a similar page), select the Get button.

    Once you have switched out of S Mode, you can proceed with installing Trend Micro Maximum Security on your device.

    Your records show that you have the Standard Trend Micro Maximum Security subscription and it does not include the Premium Service Support. For the price of your last renewal, I have checked that it is auto-renewal, and for accounts enrolled in our auto-renewal, you will only get a 10-15% discount from the original price since our system will be the one that will renew for you.

    Since your subscription will expire in a few days, I suggest you purchase the Trend Micro Maximum Security Bundle, including the Premium Service. You can check it through this link. Please be informed that you will be receiving a new activation code with this but since this is also a Trend Micro Maximum Security, you will just be changing the activation code on your devices.     Can you please try to check the steps below on how you can set up Trend Micro Mobile Security's VPN Configuration again on your device?

    1. Go to the "Settings" app.
    2. Scroll down and tap "General."
    3. Go to "VPN & Device Management" or just "VPN."
    4. Find Trend Micro Mobile Security and tap the information icon (an 'i' in a circle) next to it.
    5. Tap "Delete VPN" at the bottom of the screen and confirm that you want to delete the VPN configuration of Trend Micro Mobile Security.
    6. Restart your Device.
    7. Open Trend Micro Mobile Security and try to turn on Web Guard.

    Once Web Guard is turned on again, can you please check if your connection will improve?

    We are very sorry for the late response.

    The reason that Trend Micro's score is low compared to other Antivirus in the AV Comparatives is that the samples used in the AV Comparatives Malware Protection Test include both recent in-the-wild malware and also aging malware that has not been seen in the last 6 months and older. Those missed samples are inactive or dormant in-the-wild malware which has been dropped from our detection patterns.

     

    With this said, we are more focused on real user detection whereas the AV Comparatives Malware Protection Test focuses on malware protection.
