Again, if you have already set up a main console password for the Trend Micro Antivirus it will require you to put in your main console password if ever you want to disable it via exiting on the Trend Micro Antivirus system tray icon. The feature is to ensure that the user will only be the one that can turn off Trend Micro Antivirus and prevent unauthorized person on disabling it.

Usually when you close the Trend Micro Antivirus via the system tray, it should not ask you to setup the console password.
May I ask for the version of your Trend Micro Antivirus?

If you want to disable the Trend Micro Antivirus , you can use our Trend Micro Diagnostic toolkit to stop all the components and disable the app. You can refer to this link and look for the steps on how to do it: How to Temporarily Disable Trend Micro Protection on Windows | Trend Micro Help Center
