After updating to MacOS 15 Sequoia and going through the steps to download and update TrendMicro Antivirus, the updater within the TrendMicro application no longer works and causes the TrendMicro app to crash. Is TrendMicro Antivirus compatible with MacOS 15 Sequoia? If so, any idea how to resolve this issue?  I have already tried uninstalling TrendMicro using the installer and reinstalling.

I have exactly the same problem My Mac updater to Sequoia 15.0 and now Trend won't work. I updater everything and it just crashes

I have the same problem, after upgrading to macOS 15, upgraded trend micro and update crashes every time.

The MacOS 15 should be already compatible with the latest version of Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac.
Can you please install the latest version and check if the issue will still occur.

Yes, after downloading a fresh version of TrendMicro, it forces you to download another update immediately--version 11.8.1242.  Once this version is installed, the updater function inside the app does not work and causes the entire application to crash. It crashes whether running "Update Now" from the menu bar or from within the TrendMicro Antivirus GUI.

After installation of the newest version, Trend Micro still tells me to install new version. Please make it work.

I am also running the latest version (11.8.1242), but after installing MacOS Sequoia, Trend Micro will suddenly crash whenever I click the "Update Now…" button.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but the same issue occurs.  I hope the Trend Micro team will be able to fix it soon.

Please check your current version of Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac; if it's version 11.5 and below, upgrade to the latest version using this installer:  Antivirus for Mac 11.8.1283

If the version is already under the version 11.8, please refrain in manually updating for now. Rest assured that features will work normally on macOS 15.

Having this same issue...

If I go into my Trend Micro account and try to download (Trend Micro™ Internet Security), it is NOT the version you posted above (but an older version). If I download from the link above and try to use my license key, I'm told it is not for the right product...

So, how do I get around this?

The version I'm currently running is 11.8.1242

I updated my MacBook to Sequoia this morning before checking that my Trend Micro was up to date.
Now it crashes and won’t connect to the internet.
My trend micro is 11.5.1724. 
could someone from TM please assist. Thanks 🙏

Please upgrade to the latest version using this installer:  Antivirus for Mac 11.8.1283
