When will we see the Firefox add-on for Trend Micro ID Protection?

Hi,

As of today, Trend Micro has not announced a confirmed release date for a Firefox version of the ID Protection add‑on. Browser extension availability depends on several technical and platform‑specific factors, and Trend Micro typically shares updates once they are ready for official release.

In the meantime, you can use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, where the ID Protection extension is fully supported or continue using ID Protection via the Trend Micro desktop/mobile app, where monitoring and alerts remain active regardless of browser.

For your reference, here's the link on how to install Trend Micro ID Protection:

Is there any news yet? I really can't believe you have just left users of one of the top 5 browsers without protection like this.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Trend Micro Support.

We appreciate your interest in using Trend Micro ID Protection on Mozilla Firefox. However, we would like to inform you that the ID Protection browser extension is currently not yet available for Firefox.

At this time, the extension is supported on the following browsers:
• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge

As an alternative, you may still access and manage your ID Protection features by logging in directly through the web dashboard at https://idprotect.trendmicro.com/ — this is accessible from any browser, including Firefox.

We understand this may be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause. Rest assured, our team is continuously working to expand browser support, and Firefox compatibility may be available in a future update.

Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to assist.

Best regards,
James
