  • RE: Which console is the most secure? xbox, ps5, or Nintendo switch

    Hello,

It's challenging to definitively say which console is the most secure, as security is a constantly evolving landscape and each platform has its strengths and weaknesses. The only I can share is to give some tips how to enhance security on any console

To enhance security on any console:

    • Use two-factor authentication.
    • Use strong, unique passwords.
    • Review and adjust privacy settings.
    • Be cautious about what you share online.
    • Keep your console updated with the latest software.
  • RE: turn off trend micro program

    Hello,

Follow these steps to uninstall using the Diagnostic Toolkit:

    1. Press WINDOWS + R on your keyboard to open the 'Run' window.
    2. Type supporttool.exe and click OK.
    3. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes to open the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
    4. Select the (C) Uninstall tab, then click 1. Uninstall Software.
    5. Click Yes, and remember to copy your serial number/activation code for future reference.
    6. Check the box that says I copied my serial number, then click Uninstall.
    7. Click Yes to restart your computer and complete the uninstallation.

  • RE: Suspicious interference detected. Why do I get this message?

    Hello,

Our Trend Micro VPN's "Suspicious interference detected" message could be caused by software updates, network changes, conflicts with other security software, VPN server issues, malware, or corrupted VPN settings. Troubleshooting steps include restarting devices, checking Trend Micro's status, updating software, temporarily disabling other security programs, checking/resetting VPN settings and scanning for malware. Whether to always use a VPN at home depends on your privacy/security needs and whether you can resolve the error. While not critical at home, it's recommended for public Wi-Fi or travel.
  • RE: iOS 18.3.1 any bugs or battery issues?

    Should You Update?

    • Security First: If you're concerned about security, especially if you believe you might be a target for sophisticated attacks, updating to iOS 18.3.1 is recommended.
    • Minor Issues: If you haven't encountered any major bugs with your current iOS version and are not particularly worried about the security vulnerability, you might choose to wait for a future update that addresses more potential issues.
    • Stay Informed: Keep an eye on tech news and forums for any emerging reports about iOS 18.3.1. This can help you make a more informed decision.

    Additional Tips:

    • Back Up Your Device: Before any major update, it's always a good idea to back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer. This will ensure you can restore your data if any issues arise.
    • Monitor Battery Life: After updating, monitor your battery usage for a few days to see if you notice any significant changes.

Ultimately, the decision to update is yours. Consider the security risks, potential bugs, and your individual needs before making a choice.
