After the lastest Windows Update, I am now getting an error message that says Windows cannot install the "amsdk.sys" driver due to potential incompatibility or hacker risk. I had not installed any other programs just before that so don't even know the purpose of this driver or what would happen if I deleted it. I have had the "Malware Bytes" vorus protection software installed on my computer for a couple of years without any problems or indication of incompatibility, etc.So, I am wondering if you can help me identify why I am now getting this error message how to best resolve the issue. Should I just deelete the file? Is there any problem with running and maintaining two different virus / malware protection services as I have been doing for a long time? Other recommendations?

Hi,

Having one or more antivirus programs installed at the same time can cause performance issues and make your computer more exposed to threats. You could try disabling one of your antivirus programs and see if the pop-up still appears.

May also follow this link on how to remove Incompatible Software.

Hope this helps.
